Kris' Conviction: The Grammys

The Grammys fuse two things I love: Music and Fashion. Unfortuantely this year I was not that impressed with the fashion, and my top three were really easy to narrow down. I mean- WHEN does Paris Hilton make a best dressed list? Apparently pigs are now flying and hell has frozen over, because she made my list in her to die for Basil Soda gown. The goddess-esque dress not only fit her superbly, but she let the dress steal the show with a classic low bun and minimal jewelry. For once Paris lives up to her name.

Rihanna was an easy choice in her custom Giorgio Armani gown. The plunging silk number fit her flawlessly, and I love the way she styled her hair. Her whole look channeled Michelle Phieffer in Scarface. She was perfection and I am sure she made everyone's best dressed list.

Last but definetly not least... Fergie. This dess no doubt had people split as the color could be described as traffic cone orange and the visible granny panties might be considered tacky but I loved her Jean-Paul Gaultier gown. To me this is what fashion is- pushing the limits. I thought that the color was magnificient against her skin and while her panties were a tad granny- what was she supposed to do, wear a thong?

Sidenote: did anyone else notice that Snooki was wearing BeBe? That's so Jersey.
