While I can't remember the last time that I actually watched the Golden Globes, I have always eagerly jumped online the morning after to view the fashion choices of the rich and famous. And judge.
This year my absolute favorite gown was Dianna Agron's daring fire red lace and cutout Giles gown. She pulled it off flawlessy with her blonde locks assembled in a messy updo and matching fire red lipstick. Words can not describe this dress, it was seriously a work of art. And a masterpiece at that.
OBSESSED.
While Julianna Margliues' Naeem Khan gown alone would not have made it into my top three looks of the GGs, it was the entire outfit that sold me. Don't get me wrong her shimmery gown was incredibly elegant- it was just too safe for an awards show. But the contrast of her green statement earrings to the dress, swept back hair, mauve lipstick and bold brows transformed a more simple gown to an unforgettable ensemble.
STUNNING.
And last but never least, you could not take your eyes off of Sofia Vergara in her custom Vera Wang velvet blue mermaid dress. When the body hugging gown first caught my eye I was literaly "star struck" with it's beauty. But as I gradually took it in- I appreciated it even more noticing the rich peacock-emulating textures of the skirt, and the flawlessly cut bodice top.
WOW.
